This fine example of crystallized gold was found in the jungles of Venezuela, near Santa Elena. Well crystallized gold from here is quite pure. It's 100% natural, when it was found it was caked in Kaolin clay (I did the cleaning myself). It weighs a substantial 13.30 grams. It is completely crystallized, and upon inspection the piece demonstrates orientation relative to the finer crystals which had enough space in the vein to crystallize in a finer way. Some of these finer crystals exhibit Tetrahexahedron crystallization (the model is a six-side cube where each face has a four sided pyramidal termination.) habits. The images "gold6b.jpg," and "gold6f.jpg," shows some of the sharp crystal faces that are apparent. This was one of the most substantial piece brought out at the end of the summer of 2010 digging season.
